2017 Place of Changing Winds Heathcote Syrah No. 2

Made with 100% whole bunches. Very deep dark red black colour with a dark red hue. Fragrant plum and dark cherry aromas laced with clove evolve from the glass followed by liquorice, meaty notes, fennel and spicy dried herbs. The elegant medium weighted palate possesses a savoury flavour profile of plum, dark cherries, infusions of dried clove, meaty characters, spicy vanillin cedar, fennel and pepper. Finishes with a balanced freshness, finely grained tannins and a medium length aftertaste.
