2017 Petaluma Piccadilly Valley Chardonnay

Matured in 40% new French oak. Bright pale straw colour with greenish tinged edges and a watery hue. Elevated aromas of ripe white peaches and nectarine draped in dried honey characters meld into biscuity nougat, light cashew and subtle gun flint end notes. Rich with a creamy round mouthfeel the palate features white peach, ripe nectarine and grapefruit flavours over dried honey, biscuity nougat and faint cashew. Finishes with lots of freshness and subtle infusions of gun flint. Excellent length with a lingering aftertaste.
