2017 Pertaringa Rifle & Hunt Cabernet Sauvignon

Pitch black dark red heart with a very deep dark red black hue. Sailing from the glass are scents of ripe blackcurrants and cedary tobacco characters with hints of dark chocolate, liquorice and spicy dried herbs also evident. Full in body this large scaled Cabernet is flooded with ripe blackcurrant and liquorice fruit which sits over a back drop of cedary tobacco characters, subtle earth and spicy bay leaf. A robust tannin structure gives the back palate a sturdy feel which leads into a medium to long aftertaste.
