Brilliant pale straw colour with a subtle tinge of green to the edgings and a watery hue. Aromas of pear and citrus are overlaid by gun flint followed by hints of dried honey with a stony mineral back drop. Lightly creamed in its textural feel the palate features pear, dried honey and citrus flavours over a stone and mineral base. Finishes dry with good fresh acidity and a medium length aftertaste.
Drink over the next 3-4 years.
Alc. 12.5%

Other Reviews…..
The 2017 Chablis Terroir de Chablis is comparatively backward, a little sulky at the moment. The palate is fresh and vibrant, slightly honeyed in texture although I find more precision and tension in the terroir de Chichée. Drink 2019-2022.

Neal Martin – Vinous

The 2017 Chablis Terroir de Chablis is superb, unfurling in the glass with notes of oystershell, lemon oil and dried white flowers, framed by light reduction. On the palate, it's medium to full-bodied, satiny and complete, with bright but ripe acids and a long, mouthwatering finish. It's derived from two parcels, both north-facing, near Montmains. Drink 2018-2028.
