2017 Paracombe Tempranillo

Matured in French oak for 9 months. Deep dark red black colour with a dark red hue. Aromas of dark cherries and liquorice are overlaid with smoky clove like characters. Some subtle earth and pepper notes are also evident. Medium bodied and very smooth on entry, liquorice and dark cherry flavours infused with dried clove are followed by earthy black olive and spicy pepper characters. Slightly dryish tannins provide the back palate with a subtle chewy feel. Medium length conclusion.
Drink over the next 3-4 years.
