2017 Paracombe Shiraz

Matured for 20 months in French oak. Deep black dark red colour with a dark red hue. Aromas of ripe dark cherries and liquorice have an earthy leather like overlay with some smoked meat and pepper notes also evident. Generous aniseed and dark plum flavours are overtaken by smoky cedar, prominent earthy leather and peppered dried meat characters on the back half. Chewy tannins with aniseed and earthy leather characters lingering on a finish that’s beginning to dry out.
