2017 Pandolfa Federico Sangiovese Superiore

Deep dark red colour with black tinged edges and a dark red hue. Nosing evokes aromas of ripe dark cherries laced with dried herbs over inky earth and spice notes. Soft and fleshy in the mouth with light to medium body weight the palate has flavours of just crushed ripe dark cherries, earth, dried herbs and spice. Slightly dryish finish with bright acidity and finely grained tannins. Aftertaste of spicy dark cherries, earth and dried herbs. A good quaffing Sangiovese.
Drink over the next 2-3 years.
