2017 Palladino Nebbiolo d'Alba

Matured for 12 months in large Slavonian oak barrels. Opaque dark red black tinged colour with a bright purple red hue. Hints of violets, plum, red liquorice and raspberry greets the nose followed by some earth and spicy fresh herb notes. Bright, youthful red fruits are both crunchy and juicy in their feel with subtle notions of earth, fresh herbs and spice in the background. Vibrant acidity and slightly chewy tannins with a medium length finish.
