2017 Ortus Grenache

Deep dark red colour with black tinged edges and light red hue. Sailing out of the glass are intense black raspberry and black cherry aromatics which are followed by subtle liquorice allsorts, light earth, vanilla and pepper. Light to medium bodied with a plush silky feel, the palate is generously decorated with rich black raspberry, liquorice allsort and vanillin confectionary flavours over a back drop of light earth and spicy herbs. Velvety tannins with a long sumptuous aftertaste.
Drink over the next 4-5 years.
