2017 On The Wing Shiraz

Dense midnight black colour with a deep dark red black hue. Sailing out of the glass with abandon are heady ripe blackberry, liquorice and dark plum aromatics which intermingle with toasty vanillin oak and hints of choc mint. Rich, plush and full in the mouth, opulent black cherry and liquorice fruits are intermeshed with toasty vanillin oak, black olive and subtle dark chocolate. The tannins have a velvety feel yet there’s some structure lurking underneath. Fleshy medium to long aftertaste.
Drink over the next 3-4 years.
