2017 Nugan Estate McLaren Parish Vineyard Shiraz

Matured for 14 months in new and one year old French and American oak. Midnight black core with a deep dark red black hue. Pronounced liquorice allsorts and blackberry aromas mix with dark plum, fennel, smoky vanillin cedar and pepper. Medium to full bodied rich dark plum, liquorice and blackberry fruits have a juicy feel overlaying a back drop of vanillin cedar, light earth, fennel and pepper. Velvet smooth tannins have an underlying sturdiness. Concludes long and opulent.
Drink over the next 4-5 years.
