2017 Nugan Estate Alfredo Frasca's Lane Sangiovese

Matured in seasoned barrels for 18 months. Deep dark red black colour with a bright dark red hue. The nose dispels aromas of ripe dark cherries and liquorice over vanillin cedar, traces of earth and spicy leather. Medium weight with a generous feel, the palate has flavours of spicy ripe dark to black cherries over earthy vanillin cedar and leathery tobacco characters. Dryish finish with fine grained tannins and a medium length conclusion.
Drink over the next 2-3 years.
