Totally opaque black dark red colour with a bright dark red hue. Lifted liquorice, plum and ripe cherry aromas overlay vanillin cedar, confectionary and light pepper notes. Opulent medium to full bodied flavours of liquorice and dark plums hold sway over vanillin oak, confectionary and spicy pepper characters. Bright youthful finish with slightly dryish but fine grained tannins and a medium length conclusion.
