2017 mt. wines Heathcote Sangiovese

Aged for 10 months in mature French oak barrels. Bright dark red core with a vibrant crimson hue. Nosing offers up spiced ripe red cherry aromas over some earthy old cedar notes. Light to medium weight, vibrancy and elegance are hallmarks of the palate with juicy red cherry flavours mixing with elements of earth, old cedar and spice. Finishes with fresh, crunchy like acidity and dryish, slightly chalky tannins. Good length with a savoury ripe red fruited aftertaste.
Drink over the next 3-4 years.
