2017 Mt. Monster Shiraz

Totally opaque black dark red colour with a deep dark red hue. Prominent blackberry, dark chocolate and liquorice aromas emerge followed by spicy vanillin oak and a whiff of spearmint. Medium to full bodied the palate has a plush flavour profile of liquorice, blackberry and subtle dark chocolate that shows ample richness over spicy vanillin oak. Velvety tannins with a lush medium length aftertaste. Blue Gold medal winner at the Sydney International Wine Competition.
