2017 Moss Wood Ribbon Vale Cabernet Sauvignon

Totally opaque black dark red colour with a dark red hue. Nosing offers up aromas of blackcurrant which intermingle with cedary tobacco characters, mulberry and light spicy bay leaf notes. Medium bodied the palate has generous red to black currant and mulberry fruits overlaying vanillin cedar, faint earthy tobacco nuances and infusions of bay leaf. Polished tannins with plenty of underlying freshness extending through to a refined medium length finish.
Drink over the next 6-8 years.

Has the nervous energy of its '18 sibling, but the herbal, forest floor characters show the door to the fruit. Bordeaux lovers may enjoy this wine. Drink by 2032.
