Deep dark red colour with black tinged edgings and a light red hue. Lifted violet top notes are followed by ripe dark cherry and strawberry aromas which are laced with anise, subtle forest floor and spicy cedar. Light to medium weight the palate serves up a savoury flavour profile of dark cherries and strawberries with a gentle overlay of anise, traces of earth, herbs and spicy cedar. Finishes with good freshness, fine grained tannins and an aftertaste of spicy dark cherries, strawberries, subtle anise, light earthy cedar and fresh herb infusions.
