2017 Montara Old Vines Single Vineyard Riesling

Aged on lees for 7 months to build texture and possessing 8 grams per litre of residual sugar. Brilliant water like colour with a faint tinge of green around the outskirts. Showing good intensity are lime, orange rind and citrus aromas which sit over subtle green apple, stony talc like characters and mineral. Concentrated ripe lime and citrus flavours flood the palate over notions of orange, red apple, talc and mineral. A texturally full, rich and viscous mouthfeel counterpointed by brisk, crunchy acidity on the finish. Outstanding power with a long lime, citrus, orange, subtle red apple and talcy mineral aftertaste.
