2017 Mont-Redon Reserve Cotes du Rhone

Very deep dark red black colour with a bright dark red hue. Showing good intensity is a bouquet of ripe black cherries and liquorice which are overlaid by scorched earth and blackpepper. Mid weighted, the palate has a juicy feel sporting flavours of black cherries and liquorice over a back drop of scorched earth and spicy pepper. Slightly dryish on the finish with polished tannins and a medium to long blackpepper infused aftertaste.
Drink over the next 3-4 years.
