2017 Mollydooker The Scooter Merlot

Deep dark red colour with black tinged edges and a dark red hue. Pronounced ripe plum aromas meet with hints of liquorice, vanillin cedar and spice. Rich with a round voluptuous mouthfeel flavours of sweet dark plum, ripe currants and liquorice overlay toasty vanillin oak and spice. Velvet smooth tannins with a touch of heat on the finish. Concludes with some sweetness to the ripe dark plum, liquorice and spicy vanillin oak aftertaste.
Drink over the next 1-2 years.
