Barrel fermented in a mixture of new and seasoned French oak barriques. Brilliant pale straw colour with a watery hue. Aromas of white peaches, nectarines and dried honey are overlaid by gun flint notes with some citrusy nougat also evident. Medium bodied nectarine, citrus and dried honey flavours meld into nougat, toast and spice characters. Lightly creamed textural feel finishing dry with good freshness and a medium length aftertaste.
