2017 Mitchell Watervale Riesling

Brilliant very pale straw colour with a greenish tinge to the edges and a watery hue. The nose displays excellent intensity with aromatics of lime and citrus leading the charge over elements of orange rind, green apple and subtle steely mineral notes. Possessing the vintage’s trademark intensity and terrific drive zesty lime and citrus flavours dominate over notions of orange rind, green apple and steely mineral. A fine line of snappy acidity provides great structure and balance. Finishes dry with a long lime, citrus, orange rind, talc and steely mineral aftertaste.
Drink now or cellar 5-6 years.
