2017 Mitchell Harris Wightwick Vineyard Chardonnay

Matured on yeast lees in 1-3 year old French oak hogsheads. Brilliant pale straw colour with greenish tinged edges and a watery hue. Aromas of nectarine and pear tinged with dried honey overlay biscuity oak and subtle struck match scents. Medium bodied with an elegant feel the palate has flavours of pears and nectarines over subtle dried honey, lemon butter and traces of gun flint. Finishes dry with good freshness. Aftertaste of pear, nectarine, lemon butter, subtle biscuit and gun flint.
Cellar 3-4 years.
