2017 Mitchell Harris Peerick Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon

Fifteen percent whole bunches were included with maturation taking place in French oak hogsheads (20% new) for a period of 15 months. Superb colour displaying an impenetrable pitch black core with a very deep dark red black hue. Ripe blackcurrant, Ribena like aromas intermix with toasty oak, tobacco, dried herbs and spicy black olives. Medium to full bodied rich blackcurrant and ripe dark plum flavours interact with cigar box characters, black olive, dried herbs and spice. Robust tannin structure. Dryish finish with a medium length aftertaste.
