2017 Mesh Riesling

Mesh is a joint venture between two of Australia’s leading exponents of Riesling, Clare Valley’s Jeffrey Grosset and Eden Valley’s Robert Hill-Smith.

Brilliant very pale straw water like colour with a faint greenish tinge to the outskirts. Impressive intensity to the nose with aromatics of lime and citrus to the fore followed by green apple, notions of orange rind, talc and hints of mineral as end notes. Tightly coiled and steely the palate features lime and lemon flavours over subtle orange rind, chalky talc and wet steel. Finishes dry with crunchy acidity and a long aftertaste of lime, lemon, orange rind, chalky talc and steely mineral.
