2017 McGlashan Wallington Estate Pinot Noir

Matured for 12 months in French oak. Semi translucent dark red core with black tinged edgings and a crimson red hue. Fragrant ripe cherry and strawberry notes laced with violets emerge from the glass with hints of vanillin cedar and spice also apparent. Light in body weight, juicy like cherry and strawberry flavours decorate the palate over a background of subtlety smoked cedar, traces of dried herbs and spice. Fresh finish with finely grained tannins. Aftertaste of lightly spiced cherries, strawberries, delicately smoked cedar and traces of dried herbs.
