2017 Maxwell Silver Hammer Shiraz

Pitch black core with a deep dark red black tinged hue. Lifted fresh dark plum and liquorice aromas evolve from the glass followed by some spicy apricot notes, vanillin cedar and light earth. Rich, plump and fleshy the medium to full bodied palate sports ripe dark plum, liquorice and ripe blueberry fruit over subtle vanillin cedar, earth and spicy fennel. Velvet smooth tannins. Good depth with a long plush aftertaste.
Drink over the next 3-4 years.
