2017 Massena The Eleventh Hour Shiraz

Impenetrable pitch black core with a deep bright dark red black tinged hue. Intense ripe blackberry, dark plum and liquorice aromas intermingle with blueberry, subtle vanillin oak and spice. Rich and velvety with a lick of fresh acidity on the finish, the opulent palate is decorated with fleshy blackberry, dark plum and liquorice flavours which meld into vanillin cedar and spice. Very polished, well integrated tannins. Excellent power with a long dark plum, blackberry, liquorice, blueberry and spicy vanillin cedar aftertaste.
