2017 Marli Russell by Mount Mary RP1

A blend of 40% Marsanne, 40% Roussanne and 20% Clairette. Brilliant pale straw colour with a slight tinge of green to the outskirts and a watery hue. Nosing results in aromas of ripe pear, nectarine and honeysuckle over subtle notes of clove and spice. The palate is beginning to build in texture and richness, with further bottle age the already rounded mouthfeel will put on more weight. At present it has flavours of pears, honeysuckle and citrus intermingling with subtle spicy clove characters. Finishes dry and fresh with a medium length aftertaste.
