2017 Marchand & Burch Bourgogne Pinot Noir

Semi translucent bright dark red colour with a vibrant crimson hue. Very fragrant and quite perfumed, the nose dispels aromas of violets, ripe red cherries and strawberries followed by infusions of incense, forest floor and spicy fresh herbs. Light in body, the savoury palate has a good spread of ripe red fruits with elements of earthy incense, forest floor, fresh herbs and spice also evident. Slightly dryish finish with good fresh acidity, finely grained tannins and a medium to long aftertaste.
