2017 M.Chapoutier Tournon Shays Flat Vineyard Sangiovese

Deep dark red colour with black tinged edges and a dark red hue. Lifted ripe dark cherry top notes intermingle with dark plum, earthy tobacco characters and spicy dried herbs. Medium bodied with a fleshy feel the palate features ripe dark cherry and plum flavours over earthy tobacco and spice characters. Slightly dryish finish with fine grained tannins, bright acidity and a spicy aftertaste of dark cherries, plum, earthy tobacco like characters and dried herbs.
Drink over the next 2-3 years.
