2017 Lone Star Creek Vineyard Chardonnay

Matured for 9 months on lees in used French oak barriques. Brilliant pale straw colour with tints of green to the edges and a watery hue. Aromas of white peach and nectarine meld into cashew, nougat, light dried honey and spice notes. Lightly creamed in its feel the elegant palate serves up white peach, cashew and dried honey flavours over a back drop of spicy nougat characters with some citrus freshness on the clean dry finish. Medium length aftertaste.
Drink over the next 3-4 years.
