Deep dark red colour with black tinged edges and a dark red hue. Aromas of dark plum and liquorice have an overlay of spicy clove and dried meats with earth and pepper notes also evident. Mid weighted the palate has an elegant, supple feel with dark plum and liquorice flavours infused with clove overlaying a back drop of meaty earth like characters and spicy pepper. Velvety tannins with an aftertaste that’s long, refined and savoury.
