2017 Levantine Hill Pinot Noir

Aged in 100% French oak 500 litre puncheons and 225 litre barriques, 30% of which were new for a period of 10 months. Semi translucent dark red colour with black tinged edges and a light red hue. Intense, complex and very Burgundian like the nose offers up a mixture of red to dark cherries, rhubarb, winter strawberries, hints of stalk, forest floor, dried herbs and spicy cedar. Rich, expansive red to dark fruits show terrific power across the refined palate, held together within a supple frame. Dried herbs, forest floor, stalky cedar, a subtle meatiness and spice the back drop. Beautifully integrated silky smooth tannins with a long savoury and complex finish.
