A portion of fruit was wild fermented in French oak barrels. Brilliant pale straw colour with a slight tinge of green around the outskirts and a watery hue. Lifted passionfruit and citrus top notes dominate the nose over herbaceous gooseberries and grassy asparagus characters. The palate is intensely flavoured with passionfruit, gooseberries and citrus which are underpinned by herbaceous grassy characters and flinty mineral nuances. Finishes dry with crunchy fresh acidity and a long passionfruit, herbaceous gooseberry, grassy character and citrusy mineral aftertaste.
