Matured for 18 months in French oak hogsheads. Dense midnight black colour with a deep dark red black tinged hue. Pronounced blackcurrant and mulberry scents are tied to black olive, tobacco, dried herb, dusty cedar and spice notes. Medium to full bodied, decorating the palate are blackcurrant and mulberry flavours infused with tobacco followed by dried herbs, lightly dusted cedar and spicy black olive nuances. Fine grained yet structured tannins with a long refined aftertaste.
