This steep red slate “Grand Cru” site often makes classic Kabinetts. In fact the 2016 was one of Keller’s “VDP auction wines” and it all sold for AUD $358 per bottle (inc. Au taxes)! Made from non-botrytis grapes, but so minerally, steely and bursting with tropical and citrus fruits. With a little sweetness, crisp finish and beautiful minerality, this is precision balanced perfection.
