Fruit was sourced from Langhorne Creek & McLaren Vale to make this wine. Totally opaque black dark red core with a deep dark red hue. The nose shows good intensity with mint laced aromas of dark plum, liquorice and blackberry trailed by toasty vanillin oak and spice. Medium to full bodied with a plush, fleshy feel, the palate is richly flavoured with dark plum, liquorice and minty blackberries which sit atop spicy toasted vanillin oak characters. Velvet smooth tannins. Good power finishing with a medium length aftertaste.
