2017 Kalá Salento Primitivo Rosso

Midnight black dark red colour with a deep dark red hue. The nose expels scents of black plum, liquorice and dried cherry followed by dried herbs and spicy raisin like notes. Medium to full bodied with a fleshy mouthfeel, generous black plum, dried cherry and liquorice fruits sit over a scorched earth, dried herb and subtle spicy leather back drop. Velvet like tannins with a medium length aftertaste.
Drink over the next 2-3 years.
