2017 Juniper Crossing Shiraz

Inky black dark red core with a bright dark red black tinged hue. Sailing out of the glass are fragrant aromatics of liquorice and dark cherries with trailing smoky cedar, peppered meat and spice notes. Medium bodied the palate has a juicy flavour profile of dark cherries and liquorice over smoky oak, meaty characters and blackpepper. There’s good flesh and generosity to the mouthfeel with polished fine grained tannins and a savoury aftertaste.
Drink over the next 3-4 years.
