2017 Julien Sunier Wild Soul Beaujolais Villages

Deep dark red colour with black tinged edges and a dark red hue. Lifted sour cherry aromas infused with fresh herbs and violets meld into earth, leather and spice notes. Light in body, fresh and savoury, the palate has crunchy sour to red cherry fruits are underpinned by bright fresh acidity with earth, infusions of fresh herbs and spicy leather making an appearance on the back half. Slightly dryish tannins with a vibrant medium length aftertaste.
