Very deep dark purple colour with black tinged edges and a bright purple hue. Perfumed aromatics of dark raspberries, cherries and liquorice laced with hints of violets and aromatic herbs blossom from the glass. Some scorched earth and spice notes ensue. Medium bodied the palate possesses juicy dark raspberry, ripe blueberry and liquorice flavours over inky earth, infusions of herbs and spice. Slightly dryish but fine grained tannins with good balanced acidity and a medium to long finish.
