Impenetrable black as night core with a deep dark red black hue. Pronounced black cherry, liquorice and blackberry aromas meld into vanillin cedar, hints of leather and spicy pepper. Boasting magnificent richness and opulence the palate has densely concentrated flavours of black cherries, liquorice and ripe blackberries with elements of lightly smoked vanillin cedar, subtle earthy dried herb characters and spicy pepper sitting beneath the extravagant fruit. Velvet like tannins have an underlying sturdiness. Outstanding power and depth with a very long sumptuous aftertaste.
