2017 Hunter-Gatherer Sangiovese

Matured for 12 months in old oak with 30% whole bunch inclusion. Deep dark red colour with a red hue. Fragrant ripe red cherry and red currant aromas mix with fresh herb infusions, faint earthy tobacco notes and spice. Juicy red cherry and red currant flavours have savoury appeal on the medium bodied palate. Subtle earthy herb and spice characters are also apparent. Good intensity and freshness with supple tannins and a delicious medium to long red fruited aftertaste.
Drink over the next 2-3 years.
