This wine underwent full barrel fermentation with 20% new oak and 100% wild fermentation.
Brilliant pale straw colour with greenish tinged edges and a watery hue. Aromas of grapefruit and pear intermix with some flinty pebble stone like notes, subtle citrusy dried honey and spice. Light but with good richness and a distinct stony character to it, the elegant, nicely textured palate has flavours of pears, wet stone, dried honey, citrus and some smokiness. Clean dry finish, balanced by fresh acidity. Quite Chablis like with a stone infused aftertaste of pears, citrus, subtle dried honey and smoky gun flint characters.
