Deep black dark red colour with a dark red hue. Lifted aniseed and dark plum aromas intermix with toasty oak, earth and blackpepper. Medium to full bodied, the palate is both generous and supple with aniseed and black cherry flavours overlaying toasty oak, earth and blackpepper characters. Slightly dryish tannins firm up the finish a touch with a rich medium length aftertaste.
