2017 Hickinbotham Clarendon Vineyard Elder Hill Grenache

Very deep dark red colour with black tinged edges and a bright red hue. Pronounced dark raspberry and ripe cherry aromas are followed by hints of liquorice, light vanillin cedar, scorched earth and pepper. Succulent dark raspberry and cherry fruits form the core of this delicious Grenache with liquorice, earth, vanillin cedar and spicy pepper nuances sitting underneath. Good structure and power with robust tannins, plenty of freshness from the acidity and a medium to long finish.
Drink over the next 5-6 years.
