Totally opaque black dark red colour with a dark red hue. Lifted liquorice and dark plum aromas mix with toasty vanillin oak, scorched earth and pepper. Medium to full bodied and fleshy in its feel, rich liquorice, blackberry and dark plum fruits are a touch comprised by some fairly prominent toasty oak and clove characters. Spicy pepper laced finish with sturdy yet well integrated tannins and a medium to long aftertaste.
