Totally opaque black dark red core with a deep dark red hue. Aromas of lightly minted blackcurrant emerge followed by some scorched earth, light tobacco and spicy cedar notes. Medium bodied, expressive blackcurrant flavours infused with bay leaf overlay earth, dried herbs and spicy cedar. Slightly dryish but fine grained tannins with a medium length aftertaste.
