2017 Head Cellar Reserve Shiraz

Totally opaque black dark red colour with a dark red black hue. Pronounced spicy dark plum and liquorice aromas laced with clove meld into dried meats, smoky vanillin cedar and blackpepper notes. Medium to full bodied the palate is packed with rich dark plum and liquorice fruit that has a very juicy feel. Elements of smoky vanillin cedar, fennel, light earth and blackpepper ensue. Terrific power and richness without being overweight. Fleshy with velvety tannins, bright underlying acidity and a delicious long aftertaste.
Drink over the next 4-5 years.
